Pirate base in R&C

This guide covers the third part of the Ardolis passage. This part of the step-by-step guide is dedicated to the pirate trials that you must complete on your way to Captain Quantum. You will learn how to pass all 3 tests.

Go to the Skull Mountain

You have to start from the circular platform where you saved Pierre Le Fer. Check the western route. Find the pressure plate with the arrows. Gain enough momentum with Hoverboots and run across the plate - Ratchet will be catapulted to an island far to the west. Keep jumping to the next islands and avoid contact with the water - predatory fish are swimming around. Get to the poacher's pier and find Speetle. You can use it to navigate through the water.

Before proceeding with the current main goal, use Speetle to get two collectibles in this area. Getting to them, of course, is completely optional:

The golden bolt is located above the middle part of the tank. The only way to catch him is to climb the ramp. Be sure to use the afterburner when traveling on a Speetle.

Spybot is located on the beach in the northeastern part of the map. You can get to the beach in another way - by making a long jump to it from the central platform (the one where you saved Pierre).

To get to Skull Mountain, get to a tiny island in the northwestern part of the reservoir marked by the game. Get off the Spittle. Here you can grab the capture point and launch yourself to get to the place of pirate trials.

Pirate Trial - Karaoke

The karaoke challenge requires you to perform Shanty flawlessly. You should start by pressing the big red button - jump up (X) and use your edged weapon (square) when you are in the air.

Your task is to shoot the singing pirates with (any) firearms in the same order in which they sang the song. Always wait for the end of the song so that there are no problems playing it. Here is the solution to the riddle:

In the first song, shoot the pirates 2, 1;
In the second song, shoot the pirates 5, 1, 2, 3;
In the third song, hit the pirates 4, 1, 2, 5, 3;

By completing all three pieces of the puzzle correctly, you will open a passage on the left.


Pirate Trial - Infected Console
